Light rain and drizzle will affect parts of the Connacht and Ulster this evening.
Temperatures will range from 9 to 12c in a gentle to moderate south to southwest wind, turning fresh southwesterly in the northwest and north this evening.
Patchy rain will continue in the northern half of Ireland overnight. It will stay dry further south with temperatures here dropping to between 1 and 4c.
Patchy outbreaks of rain in the north and west will gradually fizzle out by Wednesday afternoon. Top temperatures of 9 to 12c on Wednesday.
