After an overcast and, at times, wet week in north Donegal, clearer weather is now pushing in over the Inishowen Peninsula.
Patchy outbreaks of light rain and drizzle will push into southern counties on Saturday morning before extending northward across Ireland.
The rain will become more scattered as it pushes north across Ireland.
Turning drier from Sunday onward with sunny spells developing.
