1965: Heavy snowfall is reported in the Dublin and Wicklow mountains.

1990: Rural areas between Kinvara and Gort in County Galway are cut off by rising floodwaters. 

2023: Met Éireann issues snow and ice warnings as arctic air moves over Ireland.
