Windy but dry conditions across Ireland on Tuesday

Overnight rain will clear the northeast of Ireland late Tuesday morning to leave a largely dry day.

It will be windy, however, with moderate to fresh southeast winds for all areas.

Some patchy drizzle is possible in a few spots, but dry conditions generally are favoured.

Top temperatures during Tuesday of 7c to 11c, coldest in Ulster and mildest in south Munster.

Rain will once again push into the southwest before midnight before spreading north-eastwards through Wednesday.

It will remain unsettled with further spells of rain and strong winds at times.
