Wind warnings have been issued for much of Ireland for Sunday as an Atlantic system brings strong and gusty southerly winds and heavy rain.
Status Yellow Wind and Rain warnings have been issued for Clare, Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Waterford, Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo, Sligo, Wexford, Wicklow.
Met Eireann is warning of difficult travel conditions, localised flooding, fallen trees and loose debris, and poor visibility.
The UK Met Office has issued a Status Yellow Wind Warning for strong winds for counties for Antrim, Armagh, Down, Fermanagh, Tyrone and Derry.
Hundreds of premises remain without power following strong overnight winds.
Winds gusted to over 100 km/h at Malin Head in Donegal, Casement in Dublin and Ballypatrick in Antrim on Friday morning.
Rain will continue to clear northeast during Friday with sunny spells following from the west.
The rain will gradually clear eastwards and winds will moderate somewhat during Sunday afternoon, but strong gusts will continue to affect many parts into Sunday evening.
Winds will gust to over 100 km/h in Atlantic coastal counties and in the southeast on Sunday morning.
Rainfall totals on Sunday will range between 10mm and 20mm, highest in the Status Yellow alert counties of the west, south and southeast and lowest in the northeast.
