Wet conditions to continue through Monday as Status Yellow warning is issued


Rain will continue to spread northwards across Ireland during Sunday wirh further rainfall expected during Monday.
It will feel raw in a moderate east to southeast wind, with highest temperatures of 6 to 11c, highest in the south.

Further rain will push into the south tonight before extending elsewhere. Rainfall totals of 20-30mm are expected in coastal counties of the south and west over the next 48 hours. Totals will be even higher in the Cork, Kerry and Waterford. 

Met Éireann has issued a Status Yellow Rain warning for Cork, Kerry and Waterford valid from 9am Monday to 6am Tuesday.

It is warning of spells of heavy rain, spot flooding, poor visibility and difficult travelling conditions.

A Small Craft warning also is in effect for all coasts of Ireland.
