A chilly start to Thursday in inland parts of Connacht and Ulster.
It will be largely dry apart from scattered outbreaks of light rain in the west this morning.
More widespread rain will push northwards from the southwest this evening and overnight. Top temperatures today of 5 to 8c.
Rainfall will continue to extend across Ireland tomorrow morning before a clearance to drier and brighter conditions for Valentine's Day.
