1855: Lying snow is reported at Phoenix Park, Dublin, for the 9th straight day amidst a cold spell that continues to February 23rd.

1955: A very cold north easterly airstream brings snow to Ulster and Leinster.

1960: Dublin Airport reports a snow depth of 11cm.

1973: Widespread snow falls across Ireland, heaviest in the Midlands. A snow depth of 25cm is recorded at Clones, Co Monaghan. 

1988: RTÉ News reports that an estimated one million pounds worth of damage was caused in Bundoran, Donegal during a storm.
