It will be a cold start to Tuesday in inland parts of south Munster and Leinster with temperatures hovering above freezing in a few sheltered locations.
It will be milder further north and west where scattered showers will become more widespread this morning.
Rain and hail showers will move eastward later this morning but will retreat to the northwest by evening. Some thunderstorm activity is possible.
All areas will enjoy spells of sunshine during Tuesday.
