Easterly wind adds considerable wind chill effect

While air temperatures are relatively mild there is a considerable wind chill factor across Ireland tonight.

Overnight lows will range from 0-6c, mildest in the southwest. 

Largely dry during daylight hours on Thursday but rain will push into the southwest by evening.

Winds will increase to fresh easterly in all parts during the afternoon making it feel bitterly cold.
