Clearer skies in parts of the west, Midlands and southwest were captured on the Copernicus Sentinel-2 Passover of Ireland shortly before midday on Wednesday.
The above and below imagery features Bruree and Kilmallock in Limerick, Belmullet in Mayo, Athlone, Glassan and Moate in Westmeath, and Crookhaven and Schull in Cork.
Sentinel-2 is a European Space Agency mission that utilises high-resolution, multi-spectral imaging. It was launched into space on 23 June 2015.
