Sunshine makes a welcome return during overcast month

The Copernicus satellite passed over Ireland yesterday (Wednesday) to reveal largely clear skies over Ireland.

While January has been a largely overcast month with extensive cloud cover across the island, the last 48 hours have brought a reprieve for utility repair personnel working to restore power supplies in the wake of Storm Eowyn.
